Saturday Night Out At News Cafe, Zambia

We all like to have a bit of a night out here and there. My night out took place at News Cafe in Lusaka, Zambia. One of the capital's hottest spots for the age range 20 - 30. In my opinion it's elegant, stylish, and doesn't attract the trampy, slutty customers that most clubs hold - oh and they have the best cocktails and food! :) My look was laid back, yet stylish and eye-catchy.

How I achieved this make-up look:
Step One: I primed by face with MUA Primer so that the make up can lay flat and achieve a more longlasting look.
Step Two: I lined my eyebrows to achieve a nice arch and filled them in with MUA Dark Brown Eyebrow pencil. I lined the bottom of the brows with MAC Select NW45 Concealer to highlight my brows and blended in.
Step Three: Used dark brown eyeshadow for my whole lids, added black eyeshadow on the outter lids in a "V" 90 degrees rotation and blended towards the middle of the lids. I then added pink shadow in the inner eyelids and blended outwards. I used silver shadow and padded on the inner tear and padded downwards to create a more outstanding glow in the inwards of my eyes. Finally, I used a clean dry eye shadow blending brush and smoothed all the shadows together lightly. To complete the eyes, I added purple on my eye creases and blended.
Step Four: I brushed in Bobbi Brown Foundation (Walnut) all over my face using a foundation brush. I used the MAC Select Concealer and used about 3 dots under my eyes and blended in to blend out the dark circles and to add some highlight, I also added some concealer to the middle of my nose and blended downwards. On top of this, I blended MAC Studio Fix (NW50) and completed with Bobbi Brown Powder (4) with a powder brush.
Step 5: With a blusher brush, I made slow upward motions of Sleek Blush (Sunset) on my cheek bones to create a nice glow to my cheeks.
Step 6: For my lips, I wanted a subtle and nude look, so used MAC Lipstick (Honeylove) and Nivea light pink lipstick and blended it on my lips, and added clear lipgloss.

My outfit:
Polka dot blouse -
Necklace - River Island
Bracelets - Zambian Market handmade
Wetlook leggings - London market
Bag - Primark
Earring studs - Primark

My hair:
Because my hair was pressed before, I still had straightness in it, so I just did an side updo and pinned around it to create a messy yet chic bun.
