This week’s fashion hero, in keeping with fetish week, is Tony Ward. Internationally renowned model and general renaissance man, Ward is the inexplicit fetish icon of men.
Ward has dabbled in every field from writing to acting but is most known for his modelling, specifically, his iconic Calvin Klein underwear ads in the 80s. While some of Ward’s modelling contracts have been explicitly sexual, here at Fashion156 we see a power within Ward that can only be described as fetishistic.
Ward exudes masculine control with his 22 tattoos and powerful gaze into the lens, commanding every image, no matter what role he has been told to play. Muscle clad Ward gives a domineering presence to every shot that we think is impressively masculine and dark.
Having controversially been associated with Madonna and her “Sex book” it’s not hard to see why Ward’s adventurous side has led us to award him the fetish fashion hero this week. Plus to this day ‘Justify My Love’ is one of our all time favourite music videos.
